Hard Lesson Learned

Toxic Relationships is a REAL thing! I was constantly eating whether I was hungry or just depressed and that then turned to overeating. I would’ve never thought I would have put on so much weight.

Let me tell you, being in an relationship that makes you unhappy or makes you second guess if its the kind of relationship that you want then, GET OUT! It’s not even worth it! Being in a toxic relationship for three years did nothing but sabotage my Heart, Body, and Mind. And quite frankly, Its not even worth it! The most important thing is that YOU have to be happy. How can you make someone else happy if you aren’t happy yourself? There were even times when I couldn’t even talk to the person I loved most without an argument breaking out. And I soon found a way to cope and to let my mind relax and that’s when I eventually started walking and that led to jogging which turned into hiking and now I’m in the gym at least 5 days a week and doing any type of cardio on top of that.

Fast forward to present day, I am 35 lbs down from when I first started my fitness Journey. I learned to love myself and as well as my body. What I went through was a harsh lesson, but I’m glad I learned from it.

This is my voice, my growth, my journey to a better lifestyle.
